Jimboomba Little Athletics

Welcome to Jimboomba Little Athletics

Situated in the semi-rural outskirts of Brisbane, we are one of Queensland's largest Little Athletics clubs with nearly 400 athletes aged between 3 and 20.

Be part of a team

Jimboomba kids know that Little Athletics is not just an individual sport. We are a team. We encourage each other and congratulate each other through successes and disappointments. We compete together at inter club carnivals and the real highlight of our season are the relay days. In 2019, Jimboomba entered over 40 track teams into the South East Regional Relay event with nearly 20 teams qualifying through to states. This is in addition to our field event relays teams!

Tiny Tots are incuded

A skills building program is available for kids aged 3 and 4. Each week they run, jump and throw things with their parents and carers, and there is a reward for each little Tiny Tot at the end of the season.

    Family, Fun and Fitness

We know that kids come in all shapes and sizes and with very different abilities and unique needs and goals. Some of our kids are national champions. Some of our kids are working on completing a lap of the oval without walking. Most of our kids come because it’s fun and they get to make new friends. They spend time with their family and they are learning new skills and getting fit along the way.

    Improve your skills

At Jimboomba Little Athletics, our Friday nights are very much focused on skills building and improvement. Additional coaching is available throughout the week for those who want it. Our online results hub (ResutsHQ) enables families to track performances and personal bests.
