Uniforms

Jimboomba Jets uniform colours are predominantly green, yellow and black. Uniforms must be worn on all Friday club nights as well as when representing the centre at other local or regional little athletics competitions. No uniform is required for training. Tiny Tots may choose to purchase a uniform or wear a plain yellow shirt.

Tops must be of the new style Polo, Crop Top or Singlet.

Bottoms must be plain black shorts, bike pants or tights (any brand logos must be under 4cm x 4cm in size)

You can purchase uniforms in person from our Clubhouse. Alternatively, if you know what sizes you need or would like to avoid the queues, you can order uniforms and apparel online here and then pick-up your order.

Patch Placement Guide

Beginning from the 2025/26 season, new registration numbers and bibs are being implemented. New numbers will be automatically assigned for all athletes – both new and returning. They will be mailed directly to you from LAQ upon registration. These unique bib numbers will allow athletes to keep their personalised number for their lifetime involvement in Little Athletics.

Red age labels are no longer in use and age groups will be printed on your registration bibs. Old age labels should be removed from uniforms to minimise any confusion. 

Registration bibs are to be affixed to the front of the uniform top. The Coles patch is to be attached to the right breast of all Centre uniforms. *Please note that all new Jimboomba LAC Polos, Crops and Singlets already have the Coles logo printed on the them for your convenience. Instructions will be mailed to you with your new bibs but you can also find the Patch Placement guide below for reference.

Any method can be used to affix the bib and Coles patch provided they remain entirely visible at all times. Items must not fold upon themselves and are ideally affixed at all 4 corners.

*Please Note: If you require more than one bib (ie. a number for both a singlet and polo), additional bibs can be purchased directly through Sport:80 for $5 (inc delivery).

Footwear

It is recommended athletes wear comfortable and appropriate footwear to run and jump, such as:

  • Running shoes or waffles
  • Spikes are only permitted for U11 ages and up and may not be worn between events. Each age group also has specific rules about what events they can be worn in.
